Project Overview
Lam Dong Province, Vietnam, is a major agricultural production and processing hub in Southeast Asia, renowned for its high-value-added crops such as traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms. A local agricultural processing enterprise specializes in the large-scale drying and processing of fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, and traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, exporting its products to China, Japan, South Korea, and markets in Europe and the United States. The company’s existing drying equipment suffered from issues such as poor temperature control accuracy, insufficient hot air purity, and high energy consumption. These problems resulted in uneven coloration of the finished products and significant fluctuations in moisture content, making it difficult to meet the strict standards of international buyers. To improve product quality and production capacity, the company conducted extensive research and ultimately chose to partner with Huano Boiler to introduce an RFL-100 hot air furnace to complement its drying production line.

Solution
Based on the company’s drying process requirements for multiple product varieties and batches, Huano Boiler’s technical team configured an RFL-100 hot-air furnace and paired it with an intelligent drying production line:

The RFL-100 hot air furnace is equipped with an intelligent temperature control system that precisely adjusts hot air temperature and airflow based on the drying characteristics of different materials—such as traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms. Temperature fluctuations are kept within an extremely narrow range, ensuring uniform and consistent drying, resulting in finished products with natural color and stable moisture content.
The split-type heat exchange structure completely isolates flue gas from the hot air, ensuring the output hot air is clean and free of contamination. This eliminates secondary contamination of materials by soot and harmful gases, fully meeting food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade drying hygiene standards.
The optimized furnace structure and heat exchange efficiency result in high fuel utilization. Compared to traditional hot-air furnaces, energy consumption is significantly reduced for the same production capacity. Combined with fully automatic load adjustment, which prevents waste from idle operation, overall operating costs are markedly reduced.
The equipment features a compact design and simple operation, enabling 24-hour continuous and stable operation to fully meet the high-volume drying demands during peak harvest seasons for agricultural products.
Core Project Advantages
Significantly improved quality of dried products, with uniform color, good rehydration properties, and a markedly higher export compliance rate.
Clean, pollution-free hot air ensures successful passage of international customer quality audits, enhancing market competitiveness.
Energy consumption is significantly lower than that of previous equipment, resulting in substantial fuel cost savings and full utilization of production capacity during peak seasons.
Intelligent control reduces reliance on manual labor; operator training is simple, and operation and maintenance are convenient.
